Check Call History in iPhone is easiest when you use the iPhone feature that directly controls the task instead of changing several unrelated settings.
- Open the Phone app.
- Tap Recents.
- Use the filter controls to switch between all and missed calls when needed.
- Tap the information button beside a call for available details.
- Scroll through the list to review older entries that remain on the device.
The Recents list is not an unlimited archive. If an old call is no longer present, the iPhone does not provide a built-in command to reconstruct a complete historical call log.
Deleting Recents removes entries from the phone’s visible call list but does not alter records that may be maintained by your carrier. For billing or account history, use the carrier’s account tools rather than relying on the iPhone Recents screen.
When finished, verify the result in the app or setting you changed before making additional adjustments.
