The screenshot button combination depends on whether the iPhone uses Face ID or a Home button. The captured image is saved to Photos unless you discard it from the screenshot editor.
- On a Face ID iPhone, press the side button and Volume Up at the same time, then release them quickly.
- On an iPhone with a Home button, press the side or top button and the Home button together, then release them.
- Tap the screenshot thumbnail if you want to crop, mark up, share, or delete the capture immediately.
- If you ignore the thumbnail, open Photos later to find the screenshot.
