Apple’s Find My system can share your location with people you choose. You can decide who sees your location and stop sharing later.
Steps
- Open the Find My app.
- Tap People, then tap the button to start sharing your location.
- Choose a contact and send the invitation.
- Select how long you want to share your location, if your iPhone asks for a duration.
You can review people who currently receive your location from the People tab in Find My. Location can also be shared from Messages, so check a conversation if you originally started sharing there.
If the person does not appear or sharing fails, confirm that Location Services and Find My location sharing are enabled. Also make sure the intended contact information is correct.
