Our tutorial below is going to show you where to find the Apple News notification settings so that you can disable them for your iPhone.
How to Turn Off Notifications in Apple News on an iPhone
The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 11 in iOS 13.4. You can always come back later and turn the notifications back on if you change your mind, or if this is only a temporary decision.
Step 1: Open the Settings app.
Step 2: Select the Notifications option.
Step 3: Scroll down and select News.
Step 4: Tap the button to the right of Allow Notifications to turn it off.
All of the other notification options for the app will be hidden when you turn off this setting. If you want to keep some of the Apple News notifications turned on, then leave the Allow Notifications slider green, but change the individual settings on the menu instead.
