LED Flash for Alerts can make the iPhone camera flash blink for supported notifications. It is an accessibility feature and can be useful when you may not hear an alert.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Accessibility > Audio & Visual.
- Open LED Flash for Alerts.
- Turn on LED Flash for Alerts and choose any additional flash options shown for your iOS version.
The flash is bright, so consider where the phone is placed at night or in dark rooms.
If the labels on your screen differ slightly, use Settings search or the app’s current menus to find the named feature. Apple sometimes moves controls between iOS releases, so follow the feature name rather than an unrelated setting with similar wording.
