Continuity Camera lets a compatible iPhone work as a camera and microphone for a nearby Mac. The devices should be signed in to the same Apple Account with the required wireless features enabled.
- Make sure the iPhone and Mac meet Apple’s Continuity Camera requirements and are signed in appropriately.
- Place the iPhone near the Mac with its rear cameras positioned toward you.
- Open the video app on the Mac.
- Choose the iPhone from the app’s camera or video-input menu.
- Use available Continuity Camera controls on the Mac for features such as framing or Desk View when supported.
A stable mount is recommended so the iPhone cannot fall. If the phone does not appear as a camera, verify Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, account settings, and Continuity Camera settings before resorting to third-party webcam software.
