An iPhone 14 can print photos directly to an AirPrint-compatible printer. The iPhone and printer generally need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and no separate printer driver is required for AirPrint.
Print a picture from your iPhone
- Turn on the printer and confirm that it is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the iPhone.
- Open the Photos app and select the picture you want to print.
- Tap the Share button.
- Scroll through the actions and tap Print.
- Tap Printer, then choose your AirPrint printer.
- Choose the number of copies and any available print options.
- Tap Print.
If the printer does not appear, make sure it supports AirPrint and is awake and connected to Wi-Fi. Some printers also provide a manufacturer app for features that AirPrint does not expose.
You can select multiple pictures in Photos before opening the Share sheet if you want to print more than one image. The exact paper-size and layout choices depend on what the printer reports to the iPhone.
